It’s a sad state of affairs with many I knew before I left putting barriers up simply because they don’t have the resource to inspect. Interesting stats. Where are they from?

Anyone who has worked in district & unitary authorities would recognised the immense waste and duplication that happens in the former. Housing strategies, planning frameworks, enforcement policies, IT provision, waste collection services, are all replicated with very little real localisation.

I’d be interested in why they didn’t avail themselves of the services of the local authority. Seems they went the long way round and in my experience the defect would have been resolved much quicker.
