Valentine Texas Bar, the Diviest Bar in America. We stopped in, had a drink, pet a dog, someone gave us some crystals and we were on our way.
It was the stop on a spirited trip that I didn’t know I needed. Completely unexpected and completely joyful.

A month ago, after a very challenging four months of extreme fatigue, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s.

I’m medicated and starting to feel back to my normal self but my running routine is absolutely wrecked.

Anyone out there successfully running distance with an autoimmune disease?

I think we forgot that the outdoors aren’t actually accessible to all people. Sometimes you need a friendly, experienced person to teach you the skills, or handle all the logistics until you’re ready on your own.

Where is the wildest place you’ve been? I’d love to see some pictures.

For me it was my backing trip through the Paria Canyon. Days in a remote slot canyon, no other people in sight, a little risky, but entirely extraordinary.

Idaho you were a complete surprise.
