What folks have to understand is that for the generation of black men, like Flav & I, who grew up (during 70's & 80's) poor & in constant physical & emotional threat, from the State & negative forces in our community, we never imagined surviving to 40, much less 60, so every moment is a blessing.

Had to get up well before sunrise to do morning drive for an affiliate. Felt like I was in an F16 cockpit on the freeway with no traffic after Kenny Loggins Danger Zone came on. I can also go 12 rounds if Eye of the Tiger comes on.
