Just canceled Disney plus. What direct action can we take to send a message to ABC, Sinclair/Nexstar? I don't subscribe to cable and don't watch TV.

Just a tiny leap from “broadcasters have to use their spectrum in Trump’s interests” to “AT&T and Verizon have to manage content on their wireless networks in Trump’s interests because they operate on public spectrum”

Why is the fabrication of evidence by the federal government not a headlining story? This text message thread is the fakest thing I've seen. The only thing I can think is that the media has been effectively chilled. The government is not a trusted source. Do your job journalists.

Btw very important to say that the FCC has not at all said what Kimmel said that was so objectionable! This is classic chilling effect - there are no rules so everyone stops talking

man they really didn't give a shit about that guy. as soon as it was clear they couldn't use his death to launch a purge they started to treat it like a nothingburger
Q: My condolences on the loss of your friend Charlie Kirk. How are you holding up?
TRUMP: I think very good. And by the way, right there you see all the trucks. They just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House, which is something they've been trying to get for about 150 years.

Don't just read the headline. Take a moment to watch the video. It's short.
One day after the Supreme Court lifted the ban on racial profiling, federal agents swarmed a car in Van Nuys.
Four masked agents with guns drawn yanked people out, slammed them to the ground, and pointed a weapon at a pregnant woman.
There is no justification for this. None.

TIL about `array_column` in PHP 🤩
And it can work on objects, too, so here's simple way to get all the values from a backed enum…
(It's also about 2x faster than `array_map` in my testing.)

🚨BREAKING: Donald Trump announces he will issue an unconstitutional and illegal executive order purporting to ban mail-in voting and certain voting equipment for the 2026 midterm election.
Such an effort would violate the Constitution and is a major step to prevent free and fair elections.

If anyone wonders why designing email software is hard. I scored 14/21 on e-mail.wtf and all I got was this lousy text to share on social media.

Did Elon just wake up from his fever dream? More likely he knows that this is what will get publicity while his real concern is his contracts and tax breaks.
I wish Elon would stop making sense so I did not have to agree with him so much this week.
