My illustrations exhibited, among other artworks, as a homage to a nearby mining town grown in late 19th century. ⛏️

Due to unstable underground, as a result of deep mining, the entire town was moved starting in 2014. Almost nothing is left today.

It’s hard to tell, since I do not have the player to play these forgotten giant discs. A functioning one would cost hundreds of bucks.

Aside of the gigantic discs, ‘An American Tail: Fievel Goes West’ was my first, and this one being a widescreen edition, it comes with two discs instead of one.

It is indeed my favorite. And my most precious, since my copy was signed by Gary Goldman and Don Bluth. Sadly, I sent the poster over to Don, never got the chance to meet him.

Same, but better to have these giant discs as a relic.

Just finding Fievel Goes West for cheap in the country was the catalyst of me starting collecting laserdiscs of my childhood movies. I wasn’t much aware of LDs until later in my life.

Two pictures don’t suffice to show my improvements. Since COVID, I did my first batch of commissions, went further with backgrounds, designed more characters, made a book cover.

And I created my first own kids’ book — my proudest achievement to this day. And it’s not the last!
