"Microsoft is attempting to restrict audio settings to people with Windows 11 Licenses" is some shit you'd hear Linux users making up and then getting laughed at because its Too Ridiculous but here we are, I guess.

The System > Sound settings in Windows 11, almost every single option, including Volume & Mono audio is grayed out. You also cannot choose a Microphone.
