Yay; I’m okay. No brain bleeding; just a concussion and me not getting cognitive rest.
"Paging Dr. Beat…emergency emergency”

The dizziness and nausea is getting worse. Making sure my brain ain’t dying.

ICE stops just over the border leaving Algiers into Plaquemines Parrish. They’re coordinating with cops down there to do ostensible break tag enforcement coming off the bridge, then asking everyone about where they were born.

Of course this is just vile, but also, not necessarily new. Which is heartbreaking. law.ucla.edu/news/no-fair...

I went to immigration court in Seattle to observe the kids docket. These children, some as young as three years old, are expected to understand complex legal processes and represent themselves in court.

That’s not due process.

yes, does the currently racist politician who has been racist in public for decades have a racist past? who can say, really
Twenty people allege he has a racist past. He denies it. Who’s telling the truth about Farage’s schooldays?

Owning a weird old house means getting other weird old things to keep it up. Brian came home from a walk with the dog and went running back out again. I asked why. "Someone is giving away old barn doors for free!"

I guess they’re the right size for our old garage.

Not my most beautiful loaf, but it will do for lunch and dinner today.

It’s why we jumped on the space, really. It was the first house we saw when shopping for houses. We looked at tons but knew that it was our house.

Yes, but that’s cool!

Should I approach and ask him what mission he’s got for me?

Right? I could listen to something pleasant rather than just some noise.

I don't think the makeup artist likes him very well

I thought it was just me, re: podcast apathy!
November 23, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Honestly, I haaaaaaate most podcasts. Listening to a pair or a group of people natter on is my version of hell on earth. They feel like talk shows. The only ones I can ever really listen to are those that follow a more traditional interview format.
I get that I’m probably an outlier in terms of my lack of interest in podcasts, but my general lack of interest in podcasts pales in comparison to the level of my lack of interest in a Ted Cruz podcast.
I have always wondered who actually listens to this podcast

If officials from this administration are saying that we should dress up to fly, it makes me wonder if I should break out...gasp...a pair of jeans?

Wear some ratty sweats if you’ve got em!

I’m one of those weirdos who only wears jeans or athleisure on the weekend, and never to the airport. That’s just a me thing.

Why would anyone feel obliged to do what Duffy wants when TSA and airlines treat people like cattle?
This is what Duffy wants air travel to be:

Now that makes perfect sense. We oddly do have one accessible entrance to the house at the corner that used to be a grocery store entrance with double doors that swing out, but a feature like that is pretty rare.
