Anne Shirley

This is my first Anne of Green Gables adaptation that I’ve watched and it won’t be the last. I loved that we got to see Anne’s life from her childhood to a young adult. Familial love, friendships and romance were all given importance and it was really nice to see.

Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray

Really impressed with Oguri Cap’s story and her journey to reach the peak. Nothing has surpass S2 for me but Cinderella Gray is coming in close. I love Oguri Cap a lot and it’s fun to return to the world of Uma Musume again!

The anime did a great job of adapting Twilight’s backstory! The OST and the voice acting did not disappoint and added a lot of emotions to the scenes. I teared up when Lorand reunited with his friends 😭 I loved the addition scenes of the Forgers cooking together too 🥹

I cannot recommend you enough to install the Wikipedia app on your devices and use it like you would any search engine. Nowadays they even have tabs so you can open many articles at once.

And, if you can, please donate to the foundation. It has survived the internet enshittification that way.

Kowloon Generic Romance

I really enjoyed this anime! The adult cast of characters, the sci-fi mystery and the complicated relationship dynamics got me hooked! It’s a shame that it’s only 13 eps and a lot of content got cut out from the original. Hoping to read the manga soon!

Every time I see fanarts with grown-up Anya as a spy/assassin, I die a little inside 🥲 This is just my personal opinion but I don't want her to have this kind of life. This is also what Twilight and Yor are trying to prevent too.

Hind Khoudary reporting this morning that the aid entering Gaza is very little & not enough to meet the massive needs of the population. Hind also explains that a lot of what's entering are commercial trucks with goods to be sold. The problem? Lots of people have no money.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Basma. Basma was a makeup artist and did eyelash extensions before the war. She lost her home and the tower she worked in was recently destroyed. She has 4 children Tulin, 9, Malak, 7, Kamal, 5 and baby Maryam who is just 9 months old.

Commercial trucks largely entering Gaza, not aid

We are supposed to be receiving 600 trucks every day of humanitarian aid, but what's entering is less than 300 trucks.
Palestinians want food, they want shelter, they want medicine.
Children don't have anything. They need clothes, shoes, hygiene kits, medical sup-plies, and nothing is going to be delivered to the population until they have good stock in the warehouses, so that's why we're not seeing any distributions happening on the ground now.

What is entering are the commercial trucks and things that are being sold in the market. But again, Palestinians do not have the ability to buy these items. Gaza residents do not have money. Banks did not open yet...
We're talking about a population that has lost everything they have; they lost their money. They spent all of their savings in the past two years.
Everyone is also anxious about the ceasefire holding because the agreement is not being fulfilled. The process is very slow and they're very, very scared that anything would come and fighting would return at any point.
