Like embers in a fire, we're seeing sparks of color all around the neighborhood now. Soon, green will be gone and everything will be red, orange, yellow.... or brown.
Sometimes nature seems elegant, like a careful ballet enacted before us. And then sometimes a bee literally shoves his face into a flower like a kid slurping hot chocolate. :-)
I came across these little beauties - the asiatic dayflower or "Commelina communis” - on my walk this morning. Little flashes of blue to brighten my day.
