Context: Kipnuk, a Yup'ik village near Bering Sea in SW Alaska, was hit with a massive storm and flooding last August, too. Last spring, it won a $20M grant for erosion control.

The GOP's Bugly Bill killed the grant program, which allocated 2.8B to communities hardest hit by climate change.

Why on earth would the anchor of MTP not ask immediately & persistently what his source for that statement is.

We saw him inviting supporters to DC for 1/6. “Be there, will be wild”, tweeted 12/19. We saw PBs/OKs prepping. We heard his 1/6 speech,”We fight like hell”, “If you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country any more”, “We’re going to the Capitol…let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue”.

The deportation order is based on Vedam’s conviction for murder—a crime he did not actually commit and for which he’s now been wholly exonerated. He entered the US at 9 months old and was a legal permanent resident before his conviction. We are so, so, so far from the light of justice.

Mother reported him missing a week ago—turns out ICE had him detained the whole time.

He was helping sell fruit and asked to go to the restroom—by the time she was done helping a customer he was gone.

It took 35 yrs for hardback SIASL to sell 100K copies. Paperback came out abt a yr after the hard—the PB sold 5million in 34 yrs.
That hardback cost $4.50—that was a lot. I read a library hard back but bought a paperback. I think the pb was cheesy—Avon maybe? I remember really crummy paper.
