I have a big sad tonight. There’s a chance we might have to leave our beautiful, cozy little house within the year. And we’ve hardly been here a year.

I waited my whole life for a place that felt like home, and now I might have to say goodbye.

Yolo often stands with his little back toes crossed, which I find ridiculously cute!
You can see vultures don't have bulky feet and talons built for grasping/carrying like other raptors. Their more chicken-like feet are meant for bracing on food to pull at it with their powerful beaks, instead.

Anyway, can’t share what I’m working on now, so here’s some old art: a commission of a pet axolotl as a water dragon.

I used to exclusively do weird/fantasy pet portraits and refuse “normal” ones.

Something a little different… I needed to chill out and loosen up my painting, so I just scribbled a study of these colored glass bottles while binging Supernatural with the husband last night.

Found another old sculpture of mine! Well, photo evidence that it existed, anyway. It’s long gone.

This was Rhiordan, a traveling warrior and a bit of a scoundrel. He was to be orange, of course.

I’m reworking his character a bit. Now his name is Ramble, I think, and he’s Arta’s foster brother.
