This is an excellent soup. I added parsnip, potato& celery on top of the recipe. I used hulled barley instead of pearled. I made the herb mixture of thyme, basil, & marjoram. Cooked beans & barley for an hour before adding the veg & browned sausage. Cooked for 30 more shop.newpi.coop/recipes/main...
