I really enjoy working for a company with an elderly owner that has bursts of micro-management at random intervals and an absentee supervisor that doesn't assign work properly and often brushes off departmental issues.
It's a great environment to work in.

Progressive still has way fewer negative connotations to it than Liberal. But considering that the term "Liberal" is now closely intertwined with the same people that continue to fund a genocide in Gaza & discriminate against LGBTQ+ people, I just can't accept it as representative of the actual Left

Liberals are more often propping up capitalism in recent years. (Think Joe Biden calling himself a capitalist over and over again)
Generally speaking, people have been adopting the title "leftist" to distance themselves from the souring reputation of the "liberal" moniker. As more centrists taint it

It's so easy to not buy from Amazon if you don't have Prime. I was sharing Prime for a long time with my dad who doesn't even live with me - I guess they figured it out. Without free shipping there's no reason to shop there.

In a lot of circles, the term "Liberal" has shifted to the center, since the overtone window has been dragged so far to the Right. Especially since it's the liberal wing that tends to downplay things like bigotry towards trans ppl for the sake of appealing to the "Center"/Right.

And I'm talking an actual alternative to YouTube. It's wild to me that it has stood as basically the sole option for content creators to make a living online for YEARS and no meaningful competition has arisen. I get that it would be hard to compete with YouTube, but damn.

But where is the alternative to YouTube? Seems they still have the monopoly on online video content creation.
And don't tell me TikTok. That's a vastly different platform and it's captured by American fascists now.
