I’m old so I remember turning on a console, getting a drink from the fridge, putting dinner in the oven, get into an argument on Twitter, & filing my taxes before the game would launch.

The pure joy of it honestly. To be clear, that’s not a commentary on the quality of the games, but one on personal time & place. Being young & unburdened, no social media discourse ripping apart content, character genders, sexuality, etc.
