updated head piece shader, made a real texture for the tongue (was just using gradient nodes and UV maps before to be lazy lol)

worst part of modeling toon chars is that transition period of "wow this looks like crap" → "oh hey this looks okay now"
but getting stuck in that crap cycle for too long, :(((

gotta redo a lot of this, unfortunately. I wanted to go simple with very styled hands, but my attempt failed!!

indeed, this TGA had a lot of good reveals!

I'm assuming most peoples actual opinion is that it was okay, but they're mad that what they wanted to see didn't show up (why was there so many people unironically believing in HL3? Valve didn't make it because they didn't want to, its joever lol)
