As the Chief Executive Officer of Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, I partner with committed donors, scientific leaders, and our mission-driven staff to fund research to accelerate our ability to prevent, slow, and treat Alzheimer’s disease. www.curealz.org
Behind every breakthrough in Alzheimer’s research are two essential forces: scientists pursuing discovery & supporters who make that pursuit possible. During Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, I’m especially grateful for the shared purpose that drives progress toward finding a cure.
During Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, we honor the millions of individuals & families affected by Alzheimer’s, and the scientists working tirelessly to change its course. Each new finding increases our understanding of Alzheimer’s and brings us closer to a cure.

It's great to get a reminder today that science is ultimately about wonder and joy — congratulations to all the winners of the 2025 #DanceYourPhD, whose creativity and energy are truly inspiring. I've had "Collective Phenomena in Ultracold Dipolar Quantum Gases" stuck in my head all day!
🎉 The overall winner of this year’s #DanceYourPhD contest is Sulo Roukka, who meshed lab experiments with dance moves under flashing lights as sequined lab mates analyzed hot chilies and mint with fancy footwork.

Without future scientists, there is no future science, and it is through science we will develop new technologies and approaches to build a better future. The next generation of scientists can’t help us build a better future if we don’t foster them first.
