The Richmond Black Widows women’s tackle football team wins the Women’s Football Alliance Division III Championship thanks to defense and special teams.

The team will play in WFA Division II next season.

The Richmond Black Widows, Richmond’s women’s tackle football team, will play the Oklahoma Rage in the Women’s Football Alliance Division III Finals at 2:30 EST at Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

Game can be watched on the All Women’s Sports Network on Pluto TV for free.

UPDATE: it’s been confirmed that VCU Baseball will play home games at The Diamond during the 2026 season untill Carmax Park opens in April 2026.

House Bill 1998 has been passed by Gov. Glen Youngkin and will take effect on July 1, 2025.

The bill will charge landlords with a Class 5 felony who threaten renters with sexual extortion.
