Pinning this to my profile:

I am a professor of educational leadership. I teach courses in School Law and the Politics of Education. My research and writing are mostly around educational technology in K-12 and higher education.

I am also a big sports fan. Go Duke. Go Yankees. Go Mystics.
Nope. Not reading.

"What we are meant to commemorate on Thanksgiving isn’t merely a mythologized version of our origins," our columnist Bret Stephens writes. "It’s a celebration of American rebirth — and of the possibilities, personal and political, that go with it."
Opinion | Thanksgiving Is a Celebration of American Rebirth
An opportunity for families and friends and, by extension, communities, states, and the country itself to have a national reset.

Ah, yes, I stand corrected.
It’s unclear that they are married. But it is the mother of her nephew.

"Family connection" makes it sound like it's a distant relative. It's her sister-in-law!
"A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts."

It feels nice to touch a book you contributed to. It's a good book and Chapter 4 is 🔥.

I think people are sleeping on NotebookLM while focusing on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc. I'm not endorsing it, but it's affordances and structure are... enticing.
Just starting to play around with Notebook LM for my next project and...wow. Feels like a totally game-changing way to manage sources and research.

I genuinely don't understand what questions the FBI is asking.
Breaking: The six Democrats now confirmed they've been contacted by the FBI.

The lawmakers accuse Trump of using the FBI "as a tool to intimidate and harass members of Congress."
MS NOW confirms: The FBI is working with Capitol Police to schedule interviews with the six Democratic lawmakers who urged service members to refuse to comply with illegal orders.

She needs an intervention. Seriously.
Typical of the French to screw this up

I appreciate the approach these professors are taking, but once again, it's missing some context. How many students are enrolled in these classes? Is it possible to take this AI-resistant approach in a class of 30, 40, 50+ students...?

Serious prediction: Hegseth is the heir apparent to Trump. He will be the GOP nominee in 2028.

OK, but this reminded me how White the Senate is.
Wow — Senators Van Hollen, Smith, Murphy, Sanders, Warren, Markey, Merkley, Heinrich have created an official internal "Fight Club."

They're challenging Schumer & Gillibrand's leadership, arguing the party is using an old, corporate-friendly playbook insufficient to take on Trump or win elections.

Has anyone eaten jellied cranberry sauce right from the can? Like, without even sliding it out and slicing it up; just digging in with a spoon? Is that a step too far?

Oh no...
Move over, Richmond REAL! The new Richmond Civilian Review Board logo is the worst branding attempt ever made.

Having done all of my Thanksgiving grocery shopping now, I am pretty enraged by the gaslighting by Trump/Bessent/Hasset/et al. Everything is VERY expensive. I don't care if it's not entirely their fault, they have had 10 months to fulfill their promise and it's only gotten worse.

He did write this, but he also couldn't help himself and, later in the article, has to do his BS "anti-woke" schtick.

Oh, hell no!

Tucker, who served a 10-game suspension stemming from violations of the NFL’s personal conduct policy, was officially available as of Nov. 11.
