(1/2) I’ve been trying it to find areas of activism that feel right because all of the ones from the last 20 years of my life…I can’t participate with them. They do more harm than help for every day people.

I cried today bc none of my fav foods taste *good* (going on month 4). I cried for another hr bc ppl don’t get this is my first holidays of real #grief (last yr I was focused on my mom living). And I cried for a 3rd hr bc my food order of the one thing that sounded good was wrong.
I’m exhausted.

The last few weeks I cry once a day about my mom not wanting to be here without my dad and watching her slowly give up and it’s a trauma that I think is going to be my central pain this holiday season. #grief

I have a friend that is considering running for local office in her town and she’s just as fed up with Dems as me and most of us who now see the bs of the current state of the party…I encouraged her to run with the @workingfamilies.org. I think she’s actually looking into it. Let’s go!!!

My mom loved makeup & skincare. I also love those routines. While I don’t wear much makeup, I like the good stuff for what I do use.
She gave me blush & gifted me lipstick after my dad died…they’re close to being done but I can’t finish them.
So in my makeup bag mostly empty they’ll stay. #grief
