Ignored by doctors for years, Abigail almost died, with one doctor in the end saying she had the blood count of a shark attack or car crash victim.

Finished The Etched City by K. J. Bishop last night and now listening to episode 2 of Starship Alexandria podcast.

Excellent recommendation @aptshadow.bsky.social

And @emmanewman.bsky.social I also had the same wtf note on the Rev and also had the 'moss' quote highlighted 😊

The privacy protecting EU framework for age verification is announced at digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/news/comm... and available at ageverification.dev/Technical%20...

But probably not suitable for reuse by UK or AU, because privacy protecting and smells of garlic or something.

Siding with Maelle is obviously the good ending of Clair Obscur, saying 'screw you' to the daddy-knows-best controlling men. All of them, even Gustave at one point, although at least he didn't try to justify genocide.

Next week we're talking about KJ Bishop's Etched City - one of my favourite books I'm introducing to Emma, and a masterpiece of weird fiction that should be far better known. In the patreon only bonus, Emma and I froth about the movie Aliens

It is quite amazing how fast any article critical of Musk gets flagged on Hacker News. Like Wired's outing of tech workers involved in the ongoing US takeover, or the Guardian's article on the fed treasury breach. But stuff not directly involving Musk, like the US gov website purges, get to remain.
