I've said this before but just because some artists are able to draw BIPOC characters sometimes does not mean that they are "safe" for us to be around.

I miss LJ comms so much. I grew close to a few people on there who I'm still friends with, it's wild. I also remember just being able to browse and find the comm I vibed with the best! I missed making little icons for my communities.
the 'clubs' they mentioned are a thing that just does NOT exist anymore. I honestly think that's the biggest hole
like, clubs, or lj comms, or single-interest forums just do not exist. Today you toss fanart/discussion onto an open sea and pray other fans will see it and engage, and if not, too bad
