My opinion is: non-violence works *if* there is the threat of violence behind it.
Gandhi - Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs ready to fight if Britain refused to accept nonviolent change.
MLK Jr - Malcolm X and the Black Panthers ready to fight if the USA refused to accept nonviolent change.
JFK knew.

I remember when my violent, kinda racist, kinda admirable, fictional uncle got a movie.
"John Carter of Mars."
I thought, "Disney is doing it? PLUSH WOOLA!"
And then Disney purposely caused the movie to fail and it had almost zero merch.
I hope you are able get all the merch you want.

Idaho Republicans will have to be very quiet about Muslims and Arabs from now on. Because Arab Muslims will have an airbase in Idaho and ... oops ... training accidents with live missiles will happen.
And those Qatari servicemembers' children will be American citizens, being born here.

Snuff meets The Count, the only player he seems actually afraid of.

His bright lips twitched into a brief, small smile. Then he leaned forward and scratched me behind the ears.
"Good dog," he said, in slow, guttural tones.
Then he patted my head, straightened, and walked off toward the crypt. He halted when he reached it. One moment he was standing there, the next moment he was gone.
I decided it was time to get gone myself. His touch had been very cold.
