One is a concept book. One is nonfiction for upper elementary. They also focus on different aspects of the subject. The concept-book has more math tie-in; the other more science and social studies.

I have so many manuscripts, I decided to make a file with categorized lists of them. Now, I won't have to count on my fingers the next time I'm trying to figure out how many polished PBs I can send to an agent. #kidlit #picturebook #amquerying

Not sure. I think some of the money goes to the chapter for future events, scholarships, etc. Authors can get an honorarium, but some are fine with the hosts just buying a copy of their book to donate to the local library.
