I saw One Notion’s brain worm Roberts in the Senate called to speak on a different topic & started on about murdering babies & metal bins & it was practically incoherent medieval shit! He’s a DeLuLu with the truth. 🤪

Rio Tinto has an old mining facility in Arnhem Land that it doesn’t really use but won’t close. Rio will need to pay $4bn to repatriate the land if closed. So it sits almost empty.

Their town which is similarly empty has 100 empty houses while First Nations ppl live 10 to a house 15 mins away.

The very words that should get this idiot removed from Presidency.
He can’t be controlled and he has too many equally dumb potential protectors.
Making him far too close to those nuclear buttons.

Another illegal US maritime strike—again in the Pacific.

Against a vessel allegedly operated by an unspecified "designated terrorist organization."

Four reported fatalities—dubbed w/o ID or evidence "narco-terrorists."

There's a word for premeditated killings outside of armed conflict.
Read the Grattan interview in The Conversation. Labor simply ensuring the sector doesn’t blow out for billionaires by ‘means testing’. If you’re a wealthy pensioner, you should co pay, not squirrel $ away for the grandkids!

“people who are newer to the system – that is, since September 2024 – they are going to be asked, where they have the means to do so, and that will be means-tested, to make a co-contribution to some of the care”

“The Albanese government’s reforms have been broadly welcomed. But there are questions about the impact of the changes, including increased costs for better-off retirees.”

I remember researching it at the time as my mum has a package, but was concerned when the Govt delayed introduction so the Industry could create their ‘fear & loathing’ PR response! 😡😡
“We’ve seen an 800% growth in government expenditure on in-home aged care over the last decade...
…people who are already receiving care and who are part of that care system prior to September 2024 will have their arrangements grandparented!” theconversation.com/politics-wit...
Yep. And instead we have billionaires shooting thru with their Mercedes after scamming tax payers & vulnerable aged care recipients. Feckin disgraceful.
“Private Enterprise & Outsourcing cumbersome services” was Howard’s mantra & we’re all the poorer for it, while his mates are rolling in it.

The Govt delayed introducing the changes in July, (only impacting Aged Care packages while grandfathering existing packages) until Nov at the request of Aged Care Industry. The billionaires now have lined up their talking points to pump out to the media (abc) to create fear & distrust of the Govt!
