You cannot have a functioning economy when so few people at the top hold so much of the nation’s wealth. It’s not sustainable.

Did you know, the QLD Government says coal seam gas fields on agricultural land in QLD can cause groundwater levels to drop by up to 500m?

What an awful industry.

I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

If enhanced subsidies don’t get extended, the average premium enrollees would pay is projected to more than double. For a family of four at 250% of FPL, premiums would grow from $268 to $565 a month. Those above 400% of the FPL could pay $2,000 per month.

The $38 trillion national debt, which always seems to be growing, could expand even further if Trump extends ACA subsidies, as reports indicate.

Homelessness is a policy CHOICE. It’s not inevitable, it’s a choice made by politicians and public servants to allow it to happen. Meanwhile we subsidise industries which pay no tax, employ few people, and offshore profits to tax havens. That’s also a choice, and an “interesting” one.

Scott Bessent on the administration's affordability plan: "We'll see. He's the president of solutions, and I'm sure that we will have a solution to this."

(Note the complete lack of pushback to this by Rebecca Quick and contrast with her recent attempted ambush of Hakeem Jeffries)

It is even worse : the US puts not a penny, the EU pays for recomstruction 100B and "US companies" get 50% of all profits and another 50B gift. This makes the lil 747 plane look cheap or the Trump 5B crypto bribe look like chump change.

9. European & Ukrainian leaders have protested, but hardly enough.
Europe needs to stand up for Ukraine: take over all financing, deliver all the arms Ukraine needs & ignore not very helpful Trump.
Zelensky should not allow Trump to insult him again!
Don't go to the US!

8. Trump insisted on Zelensky accepting this Kremlin proposal by November 27. Otherwise he would stop even intelligence to Ukraine. Trump posed no conditions on Russia, once again behaving like a Russian asset. Again, Trump complained about Zelensky not being grateful for the aid he did not give.
