WHY does no expert of #cyberbullying and the other #childhood #mentalhealth issues caused by #socialmedia never mention the simpler, cheaper and most effective solution? #Parents, are you really that scared to adopt it?

Those who hate #universalBasicIncome should be its first advocates instead

Seriously. It's tragic how many people with a sincere, serious hard work ethic don't get that UBI would be their best ally.

Please help all hard workers to see the light:

Ppl demanding retraining to go MS Office -> LibreOffice (or the opposite) in 2025 should be ashamed of themselves.
Asking the EU to drop Microsoft Office is pointless

Sick of social media? Listen to Sherlock Holmes then | Johannes Poortvliet
Marco Fioretti wrote about the need for #decentralization of our social media - and digital lives in general. Building a piece of hardware that contains your digital live has been tried - doing it in a virtual way is a interesting idea. Of course, many questions persist, but the principle is sound. We need a way to really have full control over our digital lives. There have been technical projects like #Solid for example but I don't think the problem is technical. The technology is not always easy to get right but the challenge is far more the market power of big tech and their lock-in of users. The reality is just that users have no choice to NOT use Whatsapp, for example. If the DMA & DSA would be really implemented, this problem could be reduced immensely and the technical solutions will become viable. https://lnkd.in/dwVK5dqg

1) it's not #women, it's men AND women

2) respect choice AND....
