Sings too loud, too often - but on key.

Remembers the past but still appears doomed to repeat it.
There has been an extra spasm of darkness as we start the festival of light tonight. Yet we must still try to bring light to the darkness.

After weeks of the offense playing way too cautious, they lose tonight playing far too reckless. Good night Birds nation. 🦅

Defense until it collapses from exhaustion

Law schools need to start offering courses in Calvinball, or perhaps a Calvinball clinic.

Sounds about right. Got a listening age of 30 though which is quite amusing.

Paul George is a good basketball player and the Sixers are better with him on the floor.

Maxey with 54 in the Iverson jerseys is a lot of fun.

When a serial cooperator is faced with a serial defector in the prisoner's dilemma, one needs to defect a few times to see if the other side can be brought back around to cooperating at least sometimes. There are dangers to mutual serial defection, but otherwise you just always lose.
one thing i think is true is that republicans assumed that democrats would not respond in kind and that the forceful pushback spooked them (a lesson to learn here, perhaps)
Trump's corrupt scheme to rig 2026 is suddenly falling apart:

*Court strikes down Texas GOP gerrymander
*Indiana GOP lacks votes to redraw map
*Big Dem win in Virginia could give Ds more seats

On the pod, DLCC head Heather Williams is informative on what's next:

What perfect album came out the year you turned 16?

8-2 with a plus 33 should make you nervous but the defense at full strength looks dominant. #GoBirds.

Love how Eagles fans aren’t even trying to defend that call. But great game by the defense.

Go Birds!

Today was a very good day, except for the Sixers painfully ruining Maxey’s birthday.

Voted this morning. Lots of Virginians were joining me. I will treasure this right for as long as I have it.

Be honest Phillies fans, some of you missed the Seranthony Dominguez experience.

VJ calmly escapes pressure to find Maxey for a 3 to nearly seal it. The future is bright.

Saquon! Hope that’s turning the corner.

Play the song. It’s nice to have multiple guards who can win you a game.

Every time the broadcast shows an unhappy Charles Lee, I can’t help but sing “I’m a head coach, whee!”

However this ends, VJ is hope in a bottle.

After last season, I will happily return to the Sixers being alternatively spectacular and disappointing. Just need a taste of vintage Joel and the delightful young guards to be healthy. #Sixers

2 of their 3 best shooters are out, the roster makes more sense with George or McCain back. Fs who can rebound, defend and shoot aren’t available on minimums.

Edwards and Jabari Walker may get some run if the offense looks too clogged.

My heart goes out to Mariners fans. Unlike 32 years ago, will be pulling for the Blue Jays in the World Series.
