Number of Blockbuster stores:

1989: 1,000 stores

1999: 6,500 stores

2009: 7,400 stores

2019: 1 in Bend, Oregon.

The “Book Lady” had a massive trove of books stored in multiple houses in St. Paul; there is now a store on the West Side that sells books from her collection. www.thebookladyslibrary.com
