We knew Tim Cook was a collaborator when he showed up at the White House with a gold trophy for the Dear Leader. Also, the most effective ICE watch happens at the local level thanks to community organizers. They're not on the App Store, much as I appreciate the sentiment behind the ICEBlock app.

Take it from someone who knows!

They didn’t have MedBeds in Starfleet until well after warp drive was discovered.
A screenshot of an X post by @ZacksJerryRig
mocking a supposed AI-generated video of Donald Trump announcing a "miracle cure bed" for all diseases. The post includes a sarcastic comment about Joe Biden and Trump, suggesting the announcement will erode trust in government. Below it, a retweeted post from @realDonaldTrump
shows an image of Trump at a desk with a Fox News chyron reading "MEDBED HOSPITALS: THE NEW ERA IN HEALTHCARE" and "MY VIEW WITH LARA TRUMP," dated Sep 27, 2025, with 1.12K reTruths and 3.09K likes. The original post is credited to Alex Kaplan.

Because their corporate funders don’t want them to.

Thanks for getting the word out, @jenn-yyy.bsky.social. These groups are growing fast. My rural county has hundreds of members and not everyone goes on patrol. All types of skills are needed to support those who do. This is what organized resistance looks like.

How to Start Your Own Rapid Response Group to Protect Immigrants In Your Neighborhood

The only proven defense against armed masked agents in your neighborhoods is an organized community. After all, no one knows your neighborhood more than you.

Guess I’ll delay updating as long as possible.

What to know what you can do? This. Peaceful observation and recording and reporting. Extra credit for protest that gums up the works, not just the permitted, unobtrusive kind. Also the backend, out of the spotlight, admin behind all that.

They just tear-gassed us. They tried to run us over in a van holding a peaceful protester. They shot us with pepper balls. They dragged another protester into the facility.

moments ago, ice agents again came out of the broadview detention/“professing” facility to escort a silver suv out of the lot.

one of the agents picked up and threw congressional candidate kat abughazaleh to the ground.

Maybe start something yourself? Gather neighbors you trust to look after immigrants?

Look for your local community action group. You may have to dig a little because the often fly under the radar, but they’re out there making a difference.

What @constantcait.bsky.social said. Find your local community action group(s). They are growing and making a real difference.

It will take time to build the networks we need. But it's happening. Find a mutual aid group in your community. It's the first step.
michaelbelfiore.bsky.social
Join community groups committed to mutual aid. That's the first step. They're growing all the time. Guaranteed there's one in your town or county. You may have to dig a bit because they're not flashy, just quietly doing the work, and carefully vetting new members.

Well, obviously, they liked the books, otherwise they wouldn't keep reading them. Review like that would actually make me want to read the books because even a sourpuss keeps reading them. :)

Oh yes. No time or energy for that. We got work to do.

It is working: Chicago and CA pushing pushing back, visibility for those abducted by ICE, boycotts on Target and Tesla, etc. For those wondering what to do, pick a focus that’s especially meaningful to you and put some time and energy there.
