How long before they’re armed?
In WWI pilots didn’t carry any arms. They were “observers” photographing troop movements.
Until one day a pilot thought- why let this enemy go back with his photos.
He brought a gun with him and shot down enemy observers.
The rest is history.

“Let’s resume the 15 year study that got us no where.”

It will never get built- ever. No company will fund it because they can’t make any money on it. Canadian taxpayers won’t fund it either.
It’s a distraction- period.
Look at the bigger picture.

All the panic over the XL pipeline reminds me of the time in 1989 / 1990 when I asked the GM for a cell phone. I was traveling up and down the 101 and wanted to be able to call customers.
GM - “well I’ll see about getting that in the budget”
My response “is that the same as no?”

You lost me here. It failed the last two times- once under Obama- when it still made some sense to build it. Then lost again under trump- shelved under Biden because too expensive and not needed. It will lose again.

Charlie angus just made an interesting video showing all the parallels to fascism and authoritarianism. A better use of time than arguing about which word to use.
