This is awful news. Colleen was one of the kindest, most helpful journalists I've known and a great athlete to boot. So sad for her family.

The loss of Colleen Jones is felt deeply across the country. She wasn't just a curling champion and a familiar voice on the CBC - she was an inspiration whose spirit and dedication touched so many lives. We hold her memory close today. 💔⚓️🥌

In Salt Lake for the Olympics, I went bar hopping with some Canadians. Average "membership" cost to buy a beer was about $17, but they never stayed. After 3 bars, I had spent $50 on memberships and $20 for 3 beers and tips.
I walked back to the hotel and didn't drink another drop for the duration.

Their goal isn't monarchy, but piracy & warlordism. Theil et al. are looting the world for personal gain.

Just took a look at that Pettersen contract. There have been some bad contracts in the history of the league but that one could be catastrophic for the Canucks.
