Take a picture of yourself at the No Kings rally.

Print it.

Put it in a frame.

Your grandchildren will speak about you for generations to come. You took a stand against fascism. You stood up for democracy.
I think the plow is the answer, unfortunately. Might able to get away with discing. Ruts are just nasty.
Also really enjoying Gen V.

The social commentary is, um, on point.
Sometimes a cover of a song blows your mind.

S2, E6 of “Gen V” has a cover of the song “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” originally recorded by Simple Minds for the soundtrack “The Breakfast Club”.

The cover is by an Aussie band called Zoë Fox and the Rocket Clocks.

It is amazing.

Being in the woods. Hell, being outside generally, with no internet.

Tabletop gaming with friends (old or new!).

Building and making, whether it’s building our new barn or making lumber or whatever.

All of these things help.
Noblesse oblige is a great concept. Shame it’s been abandoned.
A person (with whom I’ve never met or corresponded) that I respect posted a video this morning that was an apologia for Charlie Kirk (amongst others).

Bleah.
We had first (light) frost last night here in western Oregon.
Initially misread world for word, which also works. :-)
Also, thinks that he owns the place. :-)

“Hey, rose! It’s October, don’t ya know?”
It’s a smash hit animated musical on Netflix. :-)
I kinda think that “What It Sounds Like” should be making some appearances on PA systems this Saturday.
What a fun ride! And an awesome soundtrack!!!
And today I learned that Stevie Nicks was not singing about a one-winged dove.
It’s pretty nice. We clean out the bottom of the chute 2-3 times a year.
A “cognitive disability” is an explanation, not an excuse. We do not get a free pass for behavior that hurts others.
Hates them, we does. Nassty little bugses….
I think that doing it this way also results in slightly less draw of air from the living area and more air from the basement.
