Numerous reasons so take your pick

- they demonetised most of the music on there so artists don’t get paid
- session musicians get no royalty payouts even though they do on radio
- not cleaning up bots and ai music
- investments in weapons companies
- not the best audio quality

hes saying stop incentivising saving through tax breaks... instead create a way where our money can be used for investment... expand the economy then we all get a return

Few things...
- Banks create money as they borrow from BofE
- our deposits are dead meaning are just help & not used
- buying shares etc just shifts ownership as new shares aren't created. I sell my share you buy it
- govt spends 80m to prop this all up yet no wider econ benefit comes from it

Is also kinda amusing that ubi is being discussed seriously by politicians now the educated classes are under threat yet the politicians didn’t care about blue collar workers during the deindustrialisation of the west

I’ve been a supporter of ubi for a while but as the ai “experts” have started to say all jobs are going to be eliminated. I’m starting to think they will be. I’m worried “basic” could be a detrimental term… is crazy but it’s communism that is being advocated by people like Musk… if we can tax them

Musk, Dr Yampolski, Mo Gawdat, Geoffrey Hinton are kinda suggesting all jobs will go… in which case it should not be a starting point… there will be no jobs

This isn't just Sachs or Sanders... Musk, Dr Yampolskiy (the guy who coined the term AI safety), Mo Gawdat (Google), Geoffrey Hinton are basically saying in 2 years all the jobs are going to evaporate

2) politicians already pussyfoot around taxing the rich

This is why we need to be aware of what it will do. Why aren't our PMs etc not saying all your jobs will be gone in the coming months?
