2) This might be easy to circumvent using e.g. the Nixon/Ford maneuver, or simply by a partisan successor.

3) I’m not convinced family members are the biggest problem. The J6 and Hernández pardons were just as bad, and at least in the former case, bribes may not have played much of a role.

I’m all in favor of the first and third one of these. I understand where the second comes from, but:

Looking at the table, I was wondering how the vaccination could possibly have lead to fewer deaths in traffic accidents and drownings. Correlation with being more cautious might be an explanation.

Then again, the vaccinated cohort had somewhat more lifestyle related preexisting conditions…

What we really need is a first amendment suit brought by the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Surely discriminatory taxation of their established nutrition of choice can’t be legal?

If the US is serious about preparing for conflict with France, it is imperative that they start addressing their naval baguette gap at once: https://www.militarytimes.com/2015/12/28/beer-beards-and-fresh-baked-bread-aboard-the-french-carrier-charles-de-gaulle/

I mean, it surely would have been a gross violation of journalistic standards to publish an article on Auschwitz without getting Heinrich Himmler’s view first.

Yes, other than “Pottery Barn”, I can’t think of many urban barns. Maybe when there were still significant numbers of horses, things were different.

The problem is that parents driving their kids to school contribute to this “built environment” by making it more dangerous for kids to walk to school.

Public policy here in Switzerland focuses on enabling children to walk to school unassisted; part of that is discouraging car drop-offs / pickups.
