I agree we should make housing transactions easier, but houses are cheap in the North East despite the same rules. Housing supply (lack thereof) is what makes prices high in the South East. Nothing else. Build more houses, solve the problem. Nothing else will solve it.

You are right. Action to stop selling Away tickets will hit the revenue of other clubs in the League, and striking on a home matchday will get games called off, causing real problems for the EFL and other clubs. Will be interesting to see if the hierarchy within Unite will support strike action.

Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.

Watching #granddesigns and not convinced that the UK road infrastructure is up to coping with modular house building at scale. 15 years ago I had a bet with my development staff that we wouldn’t see factory built housing at volume in my lifetime. Not convinced I’ll be cashing out just yet.
