My parents were on the road to Maine, and my father had a massive heart attack and died.
My mother is OK, physically. I'm kind of in shock and don't know what I'm doing.

My only negative comment about #NYCC2025 concerns the fans in artist alley. If you fill a giant backpack and wear it, please be aware of the space that you occupy. Some of you made it very hard for me to limp around with my cane.

Meeting Patrick Horvath at #NYCC2025 was an awesome experience. I already had the IDW exclusive hardcover of Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees, yet when I saw this gorgeous Ltd Ed hc, I had to have it. Patrick made it even nicer for me.

Physically, I'm quite sure I wasn't ready for #NYCC2025. I'm certainly paying for it today. I'm glad that I went. I can't express how great this show was for me, seeing old friends and new. A special shout out to @urbanbarbarian.bsky.social and @liamsharp.bsky.social for making this my best ever!
