Found out I’ll be traveling more this year than previous. Just a bit farther, crossing these state lines more frequently; TN, KY, GA, NC, SC, VA, WV
Looking forward to visiting a lot of new comic shops. And hoping I’ve got mutuals who can recommend the best places to stop at when the time comes!

Bought a new magazine size box and was going through some older stuff to bag/board and file away, only to find this Lego DC Comics Super Heroes celebrating 75 years of Batman. With a tremendous gatefold cover.

Zorr the Conqueror, responsible for the destruction of Xandar and the object of Rhomann Dey’s pursuit, had his own homeworld destroyed by Galactus. Don’t feel too much sympathy for him though, he was off the planet invading someone else.

While living in the 90s, Starman was my favorite comic. Since then, I would say Sandman Mystery Theatre has surpassed it. But all five of these were fantastic.

Nova has made such a name for himself that wannabe crimelord Diamondhead constructed a robot duplicate of him to destroy alongside more well known heroes like Thor, Iron Man, and Spider-Man.

I don’t want it to seem like every Grimjack post is about the art, but when you get pages like this – it’s hard not to share.
I do enjoy the story though. Things rarely play out the way you think, as Ostrander’s characters are devious, selfish, and more than willing to stab each other in the back.

Another variant acquired!
Was able to hit three more shops today around Richmond but the only thing I picked up was Nova: Centurion #3 with the Clayton Crain cover.
Definitely gonna hit Stories Comics again next time I’m in town and just stay there to really dig thru the long boxes thoroughly.
