Was a teacher, still a cynic.
I know of a school that is going through a redundancy process with a consultation period over Xmas and a significant input to the decision making will be based on a single lesson observation of all members of staff to be carried out in the New Year.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Something I’ve been fairly consistent about is the negative effect anonymity has on social media. A major change I would make is to prevent anonymous accounts from posting. They can still look, but they can’t post.

Add this to age limits for specified content (which generally need revising) and I…

The “job” of a photographer is the same as that of any artist - to show everyone the truth they see.

Seems like he succeeded.

It’s good to see this important initiative being supported with a budget of…**checks notes**….er, 50p per schoolchild.

You know what should be banned? Christmas cards that fold along the top edge. That’s what should be banned.

Whatever you think of AI it’s very clear that the leaders of OpenAI betrayed its not for profit roots. I’m surprised that someone with Osbornes values and sense of propriety would…..wait, wait a minute…no, I’m not surprised, am I?
Long winded way to say “they have money and I want some of it whoever I have to betray”.

Suspect most of Trumps appointees will now go into prison avoidance mode. For them MTG was the canary in the coal mine.

The continuing problem is that Republicans need to either double down on their support for this madness and hope the Mad King coalition holds sufficiently, or recuse themselves from power for twenty years or until enough of them are dead.

Sadly, I know which one they’re likely to choose.
This appears to be real. No, really.

The rather vile Tim Montgomerie trying to make a direct link between small boats crossing the Channel and the attack on Bondi Beach. Zero push back from the Sky News presenter.
