Was a teacher, still a cynic.

The Potts tackle, which was penalised, was no different to the penalty which was disallowed. Ball first, then man.
Oh no. Sky have already deployed Dal Babu. Way too early. Rookie error really.
They had by far the trendier uniforms.
It’s the news broadcasters I feel sorry for, having to turn a 3 minute press conference and a couple of early morning interviews into a 24hour news cast.

I’m betting they’ll be representatives from Hornby being interviewed by 2:30 at the latest.
I think it should always be cream first, then jam, if that helps.
Or a child, in consultation with their parents, could have decided what the want to do, using better information than a minister making that decision sight unseen.

All processes will have wrong decisions come out of them but I know which process I prefer.
But the important subjects to them, the ones they want to study further, shouldn’t be diluted with something they have decided they have little interest in.
Some advice for Liverpool FC. Stop publicly mourning Diogo Jota every time you play. It’s not helping you. Your players are grieving enough as it is. A ritual reminder every game isn’t good for them or their state of mind.
“This could be terrible for languages”

That’s every education policy for the past 40 years.
They’d get a better angle for watching Spurs play if they put the cameras on the international space station.
It’s clear Phillpson wants to be PM but I don’t think her best route lies through a battle to implement a year 8 reading test.

Labour are running out of voting blocks they can rely on and shouldn’t be seeking to alienate their loyalist one.

Education secretary says mandatory test needed to tackle ‘shocking outcomes’ for many working-class children

It never ceases to amaze me just how bad professional footballers (whose basic job description is “kick the ball towards the opponents goal) are at kicking the ball towards the opponents goal.
I would argue that the better improvement would be to offer single sciences rather than triple science.

This is based almost entirely on personal prejudice, having taken Physics and Chemistry at GCSE. I had zero interest in studying Biology.

This will help with the Physics teacher issue.
As an aside, this also gives lie to the “only white folk saved the world” nonsense.

Reality is it was predominantly poor folk, whatever the colour of their skin.
In Northern France (Noyelles-sur-mer) there’s a medium sized war grave mainly filled with Chinese labourers who were brought over to dig trenches and then died of flu in 1918/19. Truly was a world war.

How raise revenue.
1. Continue freeze on allowances (add a new age allowance to prevent state pension being caught).
2. Switch up to 5% from NI to income tax.
3. Tax capital gains as income.
4. Remove exemption for personal dwelling but give £1m lifetime allowance.
5. Reduce VAT threshold.
Best verse from any song:-
“Well, I saw Lon Chaney walking with the queen
Doing the werewolves of London
I saw Lon Chaney, Jr. walking with the queen, uh
Doing the werewolves of London
I saw a werewolf drinking a piña colada at Trader Vic's
And his hair was perfect”

Perfect in “The Colour of Money”

1. Werewolves of London. Warren Zevon.
2. Psychokiller. Talking Heads.
3. There’s a Ghost in My House. R. Dean Taylor.
4. The Monster Mash. Bobby Pickett & The Crypt Kickers.
5. Thriller. Michael Jackson.

Something something vibes something.

There, that’s it. That’s the post.
“privately”

Presumably from all the wealth he’s personally created by his own efforts.
King Charles will privately fund Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s move to Sandringham, but it is not clear which property on the 20,000-acre estate he will live in
Where will Andrew live on estate with its own troubled past?

Oh no, poor man, he’s having to go and live in a different big house on a different royal estate with different servants. How terrible for him. He must have been really bad to merit such a horrible punishment.
Think about the watch as a triage machine for notifications. You won’t get any fewer than you do now but the watch enables you to deal with them more quickly.
I find that dealing with notifications on my watch means I have the phone in my hands less so I’m not temped by it.

Did originally think the smart watch was a bit of a gimmick but wouldn’t be without it. When teaching I found it indispensable.
