Ring of Chaos is a fun board game. I own a copy and also got to play it with the B&G Overlords earlier this year. If you like TTBG, you should get it, and this. I was not paid for this endorsement, but am not opposed to it.

Yeah, it does. There's a big note that you can mute, leave the meeting, etc. Its weird that in some ways (both recording & summaries), it is a protection for CYA ("Yes, you did give approval in that meeting") or for inappropriate behavior, but on the other hand, I realize I dont want to say as much.

Every meeting I am in now has an AI Note taker or summary that gets mailed out. There is no way to avoid it.

Built a new PC in August, so I'm on 11 with most of that disabled, the start menu on the left, etc. I also discovered the github for Microsoft Activation Scripts, so there's that, too. And that works for Office. And ninite.com is great for installing a bunch of core apps for people.
Ninite - Install or Update Multiple Apps at Once
The easiest, fastest way to update or install software. Ninite downloads and installs programs automatically in the background.

Oh, I love watching her and Rob on YouTube, especially when she gleefully offends his delicate sensibilities.

This was mine . Neighbor had the Odyssey though

LOL. But it means you were able to be exposed and curate your own musical tastes from a younger age. For some, that means more variety, for others, it may be hyperfocus on your favorite genre. But then I was the weird kid who had a mixtape of TV show themes.

I don't even know if that would track with your generation though. Because for Gen X, we had rental VHS, but movies were primarily theater. Until you bought your own music, it was radio (or mixtapes from friends). TV was reruns. We didn't have the accessibility to curate like Millennials and later.

So I'm basically the age of the kids of the characters in Stranger Things in that same year. If I hadn't seen Ghostbusters, ET, BTTF, etc THAT would be weird. I think your middle school years are a good barometer of where your pop culture awareness would center. IMHO

BTTF came out in 1985, so yes, Elder Millennials were a few years alive. And that's not a total 1:1 because that would be like Star Wars for me, which I did see in a theater as a very young me. But if I look at most others from 1977 (my few years in)... yeah... no.

I remember in 93, on Jeopardy.
The Category? Measurement for 400.
The Answer: Fahrenheit, Celsius, Kelvin, and Bitch-Ass

Question: What are measurements of thermal energy, Alex?

Back to the Future and other 80s movie is my generation, I think you get a pass on that one. It would be like me knowing a bunch of 60s or 70s movies (even though I was alive for 7 years of the latter)

I've only seen a partial friends episode, never watched seinfeld or the office.
Loved Parks and Rec though.

I just took a tech design and another ethics class. Agree that it should be part of the output wherever possible.

Not looking to excuse, but I think most browsers can provide captions automatically now. I know Chrome can.

They were a big influence on James O'Barr when he did The Crow, too.

One of my Columbia House CDs I bought in college!

Ugh. I don't know how I wrote this on your account, but I don't like it

I listened to the Beatles growing up a lot. Had all the records/casettes before I was in high school. So, say the Beatles were 20 years before (90-91 was my Sr year). I dare you to look at songs from the 90s or early 2000s to realize they are older to kids today. :D
