Yountville’s annual lighting ceremony showcased everything that makes our community special: the Chamber of Commerce and Town bringing neighbors together, the Boys & Girls Club of Napa Valley collecting toys for families in need, and the Napa High Vocal Music Workshop filling the air with music.

Too many people are being priced out of home and fire insurance, and some can’t get coverage at all. I’m working to pass a bipartisan bill to make insurance more affordable and accessible and provide opportunities to enhance wildfire resiliency to make all our communities safer. This is common sense

We need to ensure everyone has access to health care. That’s why I introduced a bill to make telehealth coverage permanent across America. Telemedicine should be available to everyone. It saves lives and saves money!

Three years ago today, a shooter murdered 6 employees at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia. Today, we remember them, hold their community close, and recommit to action to pass sensible policies to keep our communities safe.

In their Big Ugly Bill, Congressional Republicans slashed more than $136 billion from rural hospital funding, then added back $50 billion and claimed they fixed the problem! What they did was leave an $86 billion hole for people in rural areas.
