Mental illness impacts all of us, especially our most vulnerable, such as kids, veterans, and people experiencing homelessness. That’s why I introduced the bipartisan Mental Health Research Accelerator Act to drive public-private brain research. Thank you to the researchers leading this vital work.

Lake County made it clear: ICE is not welcome in our communities. Terrorizing families doesn’t make us safer. I’m fighting to impeach Kristi Noem and make sure we hold our immigration agents accountable with legislation to require body cameras and prohibit wearing masks.

No president should be allowed to sue the government and pocket taxpayer money. My Prevent Presidential Profiteering Act taxes 100 percent of any settlement paid to a sitting president. The presidency is public service, not a profit opportunity.

Jed Steele was a dear friend whose presence filled every room. His vision and tireless work helped put Lake County’s vineyards on the map. Jan and I are grateful to have known him and to honor his legacy.

The American Affordability Act I introduced lowers housing costs by strengthening the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, delivering tax credits for first-time homebuyers and renters, and incentivizing the conversion of vacant offices and commercial buildings into housing to increase supply.

ICE does not have proper oversight and accountability, and that's why we're seeing what's happened in Minnesota and across the country. That's why I voted against its creation and will be voting against funding for ICE when I get back to Washington.

I'm a HELL NO on funding for ICE. Thank you to the over 1,000 community members who came out in Napa to support holding this administration accountable and fighting back against these tactics terrorizing our communities. I’ll keep up the fight to impeach Kristi Noem and stop ICE funding.

Our farmers and ranchers are second to none. From rice and tomatoes to sunflowers, winegrapes, almonds, and more, our ag community feeds the world. I met with Yolo County farmers to hear directly how tariffs are impacting their operations and their livelihoods.

ICE funding needs to stop, Kristi Noem needs to be impeached, and we need to pass my bill to stop ICE from wearing masks and mandate they wear body cameras. Enough is enough.
