When teachings students to code back in the days one of the assignments would be to automate an intersection like this, could be controlled by any 8bit microcomputer usually using Comal-80 as the programming language.

There will be a tiny chapter in my book about these educational-kits :-)

It's a neat radio ... clearly one based on radio tubes, which is actually funny because my radio marks the shift from radio-tubes to transistors :-)

I might use AI to improve on some of the pictures in my book that we are not able to recreate, but i would really like to keep it to a minimum!

I needed a picture of this beautifull old transistor radio for my book, tried to find one online i could purchase the rights to, but instead i found a guy selling one ... so now i made by own picture of it :-)

I'm pretty satisfied with the result, the white line in the top of the picture was an error I made while cut'n'pasting to bluesky, it's obviously not in the version for the book 😅

Yesterday's roadtrip to the estate of a recently deceased engineer gave me 17 new documents for my book which I spent today preserving and registering, we also found a pile of physical printed stocks which I decided to turn into a nice photography for my book 😅

I know the issue ... I am also searching for a very specific paper that have been citied multiple times, registered in the library and I have the universitys unique id for it ... But the paper itself ... Gone 🤦‍♂️

Today I'm on a roadtrip to the other end of the country visiting the estate of an engineer who worked for a Danish electronics manufacturing plant of historical significance back in the late 70s ... Rumor has it that he meticulously saved every document he was given and/or produced 🤩
