What a terrible loss to @fda.gov. Peter Marks was a role model for me in training and as a brilliant, balanced regulator for cellular therapy and during the most onerous of health crises.
NEW: Noah Weiland spoke to Dr. Marks & we updated the article:

“I did everything I possibly could for this administration to work with them in an effort to restore confidence in vaccines,” Dr. Marks said in the interview.

“It became clear that’s not what they wanted.”
