All of her thoughts and fears- the macabre. I was able to cure her once when it got this bad, but about a month ago, I wasn't able to cure her... Arciela: How did you cure it? Ellie: I have pure aether. Pure white magic is rarely used on this world, due to its limited teachings, and that it's somewhat of a banned practice, due to a calamity that happened here. It's the same with black magic... Only those who've mastered casting, understanding and respecting the elements may use them... Chirurgeons and conjurers have basic healing and wind element spells, but mine are directly from the elements. Her Doom had advanced so fast that... I couldn't do anything... Arciela: In Vana'diel, there is a spell to cure Doom... I'm not sure if you have that here. Ellie: We have similar magic, but in Milah's case... Esuna has no effect on her; even holy water. Which brings me to my next question. Her body should have evaporated by now, but she still remains here... Why is that? Is she fighting something in that place? Arciela: I'm sure Sylvie has told you all about what the original concept of Dynamis was, but from what I know, Diabolos has taken a turn, and is here on this world, and for some reason, chose to take Milah's soul... Maybe because of her Doom, it was an easy target for him. When Milah was in Vana'diel, she did encounter him. I've had lengthy discussions with her Trust summon... Ellie: "Trust summon"... interesting. Sylvie: It's a long story. Arciela: I'm so sorry, everyone, but, um... May we step outside for some air? I'm feeling a bit anxious in here. Ellie: Yes, of course. Let me dry her body off and we'll step outside. I'll also quickly mix you a potion so you don't get aether sickness. The energy on this world is pretty intense... I'm not sure how the atmosphere is on your world, but it's better to err on the side of caution. Arciela: Yes, of course, thank you. Sakura: Hey, so what's it like? Being a Princess? Arciela: Oh, I'm just Princess by name. Our people just respect the family name. Adoulin is governed by twelve orders and the Geomancers have the most influence; with my brother acting as the Chancellor. Sakura: Wait, so was Sylvie part of that too? Arciela: She was a prized pupil of the head of the Geomancers. The others didn't respect her, or her dad that much; mostly because her father opposed to a lot of the philosophy of the colonization of the island, and maybe some jealousy that Sylvie was more in tune with nature than the others. Sakura: Wow, that's so cool. in the background: Ellie: Hey, buddy, you're lookin a little sweaty, there. Is everything all right? I mean, no, it's not, but are you feeling ill? Sylvie: Oh, I'm fine... I just... I still can't believe that the Princess is here... Came all the way to see Milah... Ellie: Mil, or at least her... Clone? Must have left a lasting impact. Sylvie: Yea... I'm just trying to process everything. My head is racing like butterflies in my stomach. Ellie: -snort- You're such a goober... So, uhhh, what did my mother mean about this 'plan'? Sylvie: She's going to meet The Forum to secure resources. If the Princess is right about Milah's soul being trapped in Dynamis- she thinks that they'll hand over the case to your brother, in exchange for Arciela's testimony about her life and our time in Adoulin. Ellie: I see, I see. Well, there's no better man for the job than Elliot. We have a starting point, at least, which is more than we had a week ago. We'll go to the very end. We'll get her back. Sylvie: I hope so...
