One of them is three stops, the other is fourteen and offers a ton of new transfers through the CBD with automated trains!
Second Ave Subway is definitely second best, though, and once it's at its full length it'll probably win!

I don't see myself coming back for West Island (never say never I guess), but the airport branch absolutely!

Oh yeah, those infill stations would've been so much harder to build with the long commuter trains! They already feel like miracles with ALL the underground obstacles they had to fit them between.

Besides Gare Centrale, there was one accessible station. The trains shouldn't have been scrapped (maybe they could've worked on NJT or something), but it really was not a line built for modern standards, and the best frequencies would be far worse than what the automated REM can and will accomplish.

Or we could celebrate that the most advanced metro line on the continent just opened and acknowledge that a lot of the money that went into grade separation and accessible station construction would've had to have gone toward the Deux-Montagnes Line anyway, except with higher operating costs.

I have to imagine the bus trip was more onerous but I've never crossed Canada on Dash-8's so I can't speak for it!
