Annual reminder to use your terrain and environmental conditions to your advantage. Trapezoidal fields and mud can do most of the work for you!
Now at 34%, after a round of frogging and rethinking. Family of @oldgodspod.bsky.social will see where I'm going with this.
Timeline cleanse: Fenris, Fenris's patience with his humans, and a bandana.
Pumpkin bread with walnuts, dark chocolate, and craisins.
Let me introduce you to two of my top ten favorite Shakespeare adaptations: The Chronicles of Riddick and Iron Man 2.
Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat
I am having to make Thanksgiving entirely by myself this year and then transporting it three hours away and I'm having a minor existential crisis about it.

Still gonna have two types of cranberries.
A rare group shot, brought to you by string.
Loki is still wary of strangers, but has been an attentive nurse through spouse's medical issues. I am permitted to scratch the ruff. He likes murdering feathered toys and engaging in the occasional chase and wrestle with the other cats. Our fanciest boy, Commodore Fluffernickel.
Today is Loki's second anniversary with us and his third birthday (observed)! The tail has remained constant, while the floof has expanded.
It's the second anniversary of Fenris's gotcha day! He has gone from lurking in corners to attempting to run the house (and generally failing). Cautious but curious, loving affection but uncertain it will be given, frequenter of the cat wheel while talking to himself, we love our Mr. Beefy Paws.
Husband keeps telling me to stop face tanking so much as I'm no longer Zagreus, but I think I'm managing ok.
Day 3 of playing Hades II. Have gotten through phase 1 of the area 4 boss (lower route). I have never objected to excessive moon goddesses and also have been vibing pretty hard with Hestia the past few years, so it's no surprise that I'm having a good time. (Har.)
The New England aster continues to contemplate world domination.
I planted one little plant last spring and utterly neglected it. Huzzah for natives!
Aromatic aster is starting to bloom!
Just keeping on with the cross stitch, plant, and cat pics, as I have absolutely nothing else to contribute right now.
Since mid-May:
--Husband had 2 planned surgeries
--Husband had 1 unplanned surgery (still recovering)
--I stressed myself into the ER
--We both got covid (still recovering)
--Squirrels destroyed husband's car's electrics
Finally have the brain and energy to get back to this. The words still need French knots but I don't have the brain and energy to learn those at the moment. This is 14%.
Lettuce will be salads, potatoes and peppers will be hash, tomatoes will be roasted and thrown into pasta and stuff, and I have no idea what I'll do with the bok choy.
Farm share day! Missed a couple of weeks of pics due to the whole covid thing. Bok choy, lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, wee bell peppers.
I am obviously cosigned, but the upcoming Netflix series has Rufus Sewell and Olivia Colman as Mr. & Mrs. Bennet and I would watch eight hours of just that.
Also had a video visit at 10am (a mere one hour after I tested!) where I was prescribed paxlovid. Do I have paxlovid to take? Of course not, because the script was held up all day by an "insurance issue." Perhaps tomorrow.
