It's inevitable when you do a very good suppoeting role, someone higher will aee it as a good trait for a lead role.

Oof, that sucks and quite a big chunk too.

Usually it'll be using epoxy or contact cement to fix it. I know this was 3d printed, so using heat with soldering iron to fuse them together is possible.
