Sunday Breakfast with (some of!) the flock

When animals eat hay, the fermentation process releases heat — creating a kind of internal furnace, warming them from the inside out ☺️

It's high time this was stopped. Quite apart from the unnecessary harm and distress it causes to people's pets and to wildlife, it puts a lot of plastic detritus into the environment. too ... and all in 'celebration' of what was actually an attempted terrorist atrocity. Crazy really. 😔

The fact that people make, but never seem to use, silent fireworks just enrages me. We know what loud bangs do to animals and humans with PTSD and still can't seem to do the right thing.
