New first-time watch that became quite a discovery for me: NIGHT MUST FALL (1937). An adaptation from the play by Emlyn Williams, starring Rosalind Russell, Robert Montgomery and Dame May Whitty. The last two received Oscar nominations for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress, respectively.

#Filmsky

In honor of Ralph Meeker's birthday, here's one of my favorite overlooked film noir titles of his: JEOPARDY (1953). Starring alongside Barbara Stanwyck and Barry Sullivan, it is a tense and thrilling film, directed by John Sturges. #Noirvember #BOTD

Sometimes I think about how great Gene Tierney would’ve been on Columbo. Her film WHIRLPOOL (1950) with Richard Conte and José Ferrer has such strong Columbo energy that it feels like a lost episode. Ferrer eventually made it onto the show, but Gene would’ve been unforgettable. #Norivember #FilmSky

My favorite #Noirvember discovery so far it's been the Spanish noir EL SALARIO DEL CRIMEN (The Salary of Crime, 1964) directed by Julio Buchs. Fatality, police corruption, a heist, a doomed protagonist... The best ingredients in an intriguing exciting film. Una cinta estupenda. #filmsky
