Summary of this year's birthday:
Got woken up at 5am by an explosion
Had no connection for the majority of the day
Accidentally chopped off a bit of a finger
Got sick out of nowhere
Too annoyed to get wasted

I'd say it's a C+ (could've been worse)

New TFT set is low-key a banger🤔

Today I learned the difference between scary and horrifying...
Thank you, obscure-ass survival horror game from 2017 (I will not recommend it even to my worst enemy)

Nightreign is indeed amazing and I'd say better than the base game in some aspects. But there's a problem that renders it literally unplayable for me...

I don't have it 😞

Finished playing (and replaying) Resident Evil 8 and 7...

This shit is so ass

In fact, plenty of people make even worse actions in private, so "why pay attention if I see this every day". Again, I can't really share my opinion regarding the person as it's not unbiased. My only prediction, majority of people will forget that this ever happened in about 2 weeks(?)

I understand your intentions, but unfortunately jokes about even more upsetting topics are not perceived as something bad by the general public. Unless it's someone really big or something really bad, people usually don't care.

I also want to emphasize that this whole rant is not my defense of the person, but an opinion on why the video doesn't serve its purpose.
Although the whole nsfw profile thingy is indeed pretty stupid. (7/7)

At the end of the day, the video is neither informative, because of the large amount of personal opinion added, nor is it a piece of mind, because other than “person bad”, there is no opinion. That's just not the way shit like this should be handled imo. (6/7)
miridoingthings.bsky.social
The video can be summarized as "This person made an in**st joke, they probably likes in**st, and even if they don't, they're still a bad person. Also, dude, your defense is so trash my brain is melting, I have nothing to say." (5/7)
miridoingthings.bsky.social
You talk about the stream and berate their response, but then state that "I don't wanna sit through 90 minutes worth of the stream" because you assume it's just QnA with chat and Webfishing gameplay. (4/7)
miridoingthings.bsky.social
You're talking about the game being bad not because you played it, but because you were told it was bad because one of its themes is in**st. (3/7)
miridoingthings.bsky.social
You said yourself that the point of the video is to inform others that the person in question has done a bad thing, yet you have done no research other than what *you were told*. (2/7)
miridoingthings.bsky.social
While some people may see this topic as something “not THAT bad”, another problem that contributes to people disregarding it is that the video looks pretty sloppy. (1/7)

I will not comment on the situation regarding my employer.
All of my questions and concerns have been answered privately and will remain so.
If you have questions about the situation, I am not the right person to answer them.
Thank you for your understanding.

Am I weird for feeling that online friendship isn't really a thing? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it's impossible. I'm just saying that it's really not the same as interactions in person (no shit).

And thus my little tirade has come to an end. The last thing I'll add is that only we, the players, can solve the aforementioned problems, as we are the ones who decide what to pay for.
Have a nice day.

I often buy OSTs and supporter packs for games I enjoy because I want to support the people that created something that I like. Not for self-indulgence, but as a sign of appreciation. People spent months if not years making it, so it's only fair if I give them a little "thank you".

Don't get me wrong, I'm not some cheap bastard that thinks everything should be free, as I understand that there's a person behind every polygon, story bit and lore piece. A person whose income depends on it.

As for this one, I don't have an immediate solution, but it's something I've been thinking quite a lot. There's certainly a way to make content locked behind pulls and rolls more accessible, but to do so gacha must cease to exist as a concept.

This aspect particularly saddens me, as it's an issue that affects someone I care deeply about. Someone, who loves games, stories they tell and ideas they explore, but too hellbent on the presence of gacha mechanics... But I digress.

But at the same time, I know plenty of people who not only don't mind it, but view it as a selling point. Yes, some people won't play a game if it doesn't have a gacha system. I think it goes without saying that it's not a healthy mindset...

Gacha systems:
Now this is a tough one for me. Personally, I despise gacha, as I perceive it not as some kind of reward but as a roadblock.
What do you mean I have to "pull" for something I want? Isn't it gambling but with extra steps?

For this one, I suggest opening up access to past content to players and allowing them to purchase it without paying money. For Premium goods, make them tied to some sort of achievement. Something that really shows the player's dedication.
Oh, and fuck FOMO as a concept👍
